Thank you so much, you beautiful life. Thank you Mother Earth, wonderful spirit and delicate soul. What have I done to deserve you? Thank you for nurturing us. For seeing us. For letting us live in you, on you, and with you. It’s a beautiful, beautiful thing. I feel so lucky to be a part of, you.
Thank you to my family, for loving me even when I may not have deserved to feel loved. Even when I was being annoying, and bratty and stupid and ignorant. Thank you for being my rock, my foundation, the embodiment of love. You are magnificent, and I am so lucky to be a part of your precious lives.
Thank you, my friends, who listen to me bicker and bitch and be the weird human I am. You don’t have to keep coming back and yet, you do. You do all the time. Thank you.
Thank you to you, spirit, for letting me serve you in the way that aligns with my personality, my soul, my purpose, (I think…almost…maybe… hopefully? — still not sure with this one), thank you for granting me the opportunities to teach, to love, to educate, to live and to learn alongside of beautiful people. I will try my best to live up to the standards I feel responsible for, I can promise you that.
Thank you for food, for shelter, for water, and for the breathtaking air in my lungs. I embrace every minute of it, and I owe a lifetime of debt to you for it. I know that.
Today, my body is nourished and sheltered, my feet are planted, and my mind is filled with gratitude. There is more joy inside me.
Today is good, and this moment, well, it’s even better.
